We’ve had the opportunity to meet with the North Market over the past few months to form a strategic partnership on the upcoming Ohio Craft Brew Festival September 23 & 24. We’re working on a fantastic local lineup of beers as well as great entertainment and educational components for one of Columbus’ original craft beer fests.

North Market and Columbus Craft Beer Alliance Announce Strategic Partnership
Columbus, Ohio –In the 11th year of Central Ohio’s original craft beer event, North Market will partner with Columbus Craft Beer Alliance.
As a part of the strategic partnership, the goals of the two organizations are to raise the profile of the outstanding local and Ohio craft breweries, introduce attendees to new and different styles of beers and to highlight the level of creativity and craftsmanship of Ohio beer.
The event, which started in 2006 with just six local breweries, has expanded over the years to showcase nearly twenty breweries from around the state of Ohio. “This is the premiere craft brewing event in Ohio and now partnering with the highly respected CCBA, we believe the sky’s the limit. Patrons of the event will get to experience local favorites as well as hard to find out-of-town brews,” states North Market Executive Director Rick Harrison Wolfe. “In addition, we have reformatted the event to stay ahead of the abundance of craft beer events that have popped up in recent years.”
“We’re proud to partner with North Market to craft a fantastic event that’s beneficial both to beer drinkers and brewers,” said CCBA co-founder Laura Oldham. “The North Market’s Ohio Craft Brew Festival is one of the original Columbus craft beer events*, and we’re thrilled to play a role in continuing its success and innovation.”
The North Market Ohio Craft Brew Festival is one of the largest fundraising events for the North Market Development Authority, the 501(c)(3) organization that manages the daily operations of the historic North Market. *Correction: An early version of this press release referenced the North Market Ohio Craft Brew Fest as the original Columbus craft beer fest. The original Columbus craft beer festival is actually the Smokehouse Mini Real Ale Fest, which is older by three years and is still a fantastic annual event. We apologize for the mistake.
